1. About these terms

This website is operated by Regal Lane, LLC ("Regal Lane", "we", "us", "our"). Throughout the site, these Terms of Service apply to all users, visitors and customers.

By visiting regallaneco.com or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree to them, please don't use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here is the one in effect, and the "last updated" date above tells you when it changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

2. Using the site

You must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm you're legally able to enter into this agreement.

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to transmit anything harmful or malicious, to scrape or copy our content for a competing service, or to interfere with the site's operation or security. We may refuse service or terminate access to anyone who does.

3. Products, and how we describe them

We make every effort to show our pieces accurately and detail photography of fabric and construction.

That said, colors can read differently on different screens. Satin in particular photographs differently depending on light, and no monitor shows fabric exactly as it arrives. We can't guarantee that your display renders a color precisely. If a piece isn't what you expected, our return policy is there for exactly that.

Measurements are taken flat and by hand, and a small variance between pieces is normal in small-batch garments.

4. Availability, and our right to cancel an order

Our Edits are intentionally small-batch and limited. Pieces sell out, and occasionally stock counts don't keep up with a fast release.

If we can't fulfill something you've ordered - it sold out, it arrived from our maker damaged, or a listing was in error, we'll contact you and refund that item in full to your original payment method. We reserve the right to limit quantities, to refuse or cancel any order, and to discontinue a piece at any time.

We also reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors. If a piece was listed at the wrong price, we'll contact you before charging you and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Preorders

Some pieces are sold as preorders. Ship windows on preorder listings are estimates provided by our makers and may change.

Because preorders are secured from our makers on a final-sale basis, preorder pieces are returnable for store credit rather than a cash refund, on the terms set out in our Return & Refund Policy. You may cancel a preorder for full store credit at any time before it ships.

6. Pricing and payment

All prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where applicable.

By placing an order you confirm the payment method is yours and that you're authorized to use it. We may use third-party payment processors, and your payment details are handled by them under their own terms. We never store your full card number.

7. Returns

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Our brand and content

All content on this site, the Regal Lane name, the wordmark and RL monogram, our tagline, photography, product descriptions, editorial copy, and the look and feel of the site — is owned by Regal Lane, LLC or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may share our content on social media with credit. You may not use our name, marks, photography or copy for commercial purposes, resale listings, or in any way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

9. Content you share with us

If you tag us, send us a photo, post a review, or share content featuring our pieces, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce and display that content on our website, in our emails, and on our social channels, with credit to you.

You confirm you own or have the rights to what you share, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove any content at our discretion. We won't use content in paid advertising without asking you first.

If you'd like something taken down, ask us and we will.

10. Third-party links

Our site may link to third parties we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, products or practices, and a link isn't an endorsement. Read their terms before you engage with them.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful. The site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Regal Lane, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

Nothing here limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law, and nothing excludes liability we cannot legally exclude.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Regal Lane, LLC and its officers and agents from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision is severed and the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, are the entire agreement between us.
